Who we are
A+ Academics was founded on the belief that one-on-one support can completely transform the way students learn. From Grades 5 through 12, A+ Academics offers tutoring in all sciences, math (including calculus), English, and kinesiology. The goal is straightforward — to help students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and reach their full potential.
Whether a student is looking for consistent support or needs help with a specific challenge, A+ Academics encourages everyone to start somewhere — because every bit of progress counts. All sessions are held online via Zoom, with both private and group options available for flexible, personalized learning.
The program is led by Annie Caughill, who founded A+ Academics after experiencing the impact of tutoring firsthand.
“From Grade 7 through Grade 12, I had tutors who helped me not only understand the material but also feel confident in it. Sometimes, asking questions in class can feel intimidating — but with a tutor who focuses on your specific goals, learning becomes less stressful and far more rewarding.”
After graduating high school with a honours with distinction , Annie went on to study biochemistry at Western University, where she currently serves as the First-Year Science Faculty Representative, representing over 7000 students. Alongside a talented team — Anna Pizzale (Head of English and Kinesiology) and David Gustof (Head of Mathematics) — Annie and the A+ Academics team are dedicated to making learning accessible, supportive, and effective for every student.
